Randy has over 23 years of financial services experience. While attending The University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Randy developed a passion for wealth management as an intern at a Smith Barney office. Upon graduating in 1999, Randy became a Financial Advisor for Smith Barney where he remained until co-founding North Channel Capital Management in 2006. Also in 2006, Randy passed the Certified Financial Planner board of standards exam to earn the nationally recognized CFP® certification.
Randy was born in Walnut Creek, California, but moved a short six months later when his father’s job took the family to Dallas, Texas. His father, Tim, worked for the Army Air Force Exchange Service, which operates a large network of retail stores on our nation’s Army and Air Force installations. Growing up, Randy had the opportunity to live in Walnut Creek, California; Dallas, Texas; Tacoma, Washington; and Omaha, Nebraska where he graduated from Westside High School. Randy and his wife Lauren reside in Omaha and have three children: Henry, Charlotte, and George. During his free time, Randy enjoys helping coach Henry’s baseball team, watching Husker Football, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Scott has over 30 years of financial services experience. He began his career in financial services in 1992 at A.G. Edwards (a predecessor firm of Wachovia Securities and then Wells Fargo Advisors). In 2004, Scott moved to Smith Barney where he remained until joining North Channel Capital Management Group in 2009.
Prior to Scott working in financial services, he spent six years as a golf professional. Scott and his wife Liz reside in Lincoln and have four children: Taylor, Joe, Hannah, and Eric.
Scott is highly active in his community, sitting on the boards of the Nebraska Presbyterian Foundation, Huskers Athletic Fund, Country Club of Lincoln, and Immanuel.

As a Managing Partner at North Channel Capital, Tim Hoffman believes your wealth should work in support of the goals you have established. The careful planning which that requires is a process - not a single event. That’s why Tim utilizes a long-term investment approach to become a true partner for his clients’ life-journeys.
Tim draws on nearly-25 years in the financial industry when translating market events and providing advice to clients. After building his proficiencies at Wells Fargo Advisors, he joined North Channel Capital to continue delivering an enhanced experience his clients deserve. A lifelong learner, Tim earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation to provide an even broader depth of knowledge and resources to his clients.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Alisa, and their three sons: Austin, Connor, and Matt. You’ll find them traveling on the weekends, on the hunt for new adventures. Tim and his family are also proudly involved with Special Olympics Nebraska, where he is a volunteer coach and referee for multiple sports.

Mick has over 39 years of financial services experience. He began his career in the securities business with First Mid America/Paine Webber in 1983. In 1988, Mick moved to Smith Barney, where he remained until co-founding North Channel Capital Management Group in 2006. Also, in 2006 Mick passed the Certified Financial Planner board of standards exam to earn the nationally recognized CFP® certification.
Mick and his wife Kari (“Cookie”), reside in Gretna and have three adult children: Markie (Jamie) Westerman, Mickey and Maddie (Andy) Janovich.

Neal has over 34 years of financial services experience. He began his career in financial services in 1988 at Dain Bosworth. In 1993, Neal moved to Smith Barney in Lincoln where he remained until co-founding North Channel Capital Management Group in 2006.
Neal is a native of Osceola, Nebraska where he worked on the family farm. Neal and his wife Joannie reside in Lincoln and have two adult children, Garrett and Gavin, and two grandchildren, Skylar and Emma.

While his title is Wealth Advisor, the clients at North Channel Capital Management know Steve Bartlett to be a problem-solver above all else. He demystifies their financial concerns with bespoke wealth strategies & advice, and, as an attorney, streamlines estate planning issues for the high net-worth. Time and again in his 30 year career, Steve’s been fascinated to learn the stories of his clients’ lives – and become true friends with them along the way.
Before going independent with North Channel, Steve honed his proficiencies for building & efficiently passing on long-lasting assets to future generations at First National Bank of Omaha and Wells Fargo Private Bank. He earned his J.D. from the Creighton University School of Law, and has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
Steve has served the Boy Scouts of America on the Board of the MidAmerica Council for 10 years because he believes it’s a great start in life for young men and women. Having grown up in the rural areas before moving to the city, he is intensely proud to be a Nebraskan. Outside of the office, Steve gets the most enthusiastic about his family and sports!

For over 15 years in financial services, Phil Halloran has been establishing plans for wealth creation & management using a variety of customized tools and strategies tailored to his client’s goals. By working with his clients long enough to see them enjoy the fruits of their labor, many of Phil’s client relationships have evolved into true friendships.
After building proficiencies as a Licensed Banker and Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, Phil came to North Channel Capital as a Managing Director to pair their big-firm resources with his personalized touch. Phil’s earned certifications like the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ to help him communicate complex strategies to his clients and create meaningful plans for generational wealth.
Originally from Hastings and now in Lincoln, Phil loves combining his love of family and the outdoors. He and his wife enjoy watching their two boys play & succeed at sports, as well as going on family camp-outs. Outside of that, you’ll find Phil hunting, biking, fishing, or attending sporting events.

In his role as Senior Wealth Client Financial Advisor at North Channel Capital, Brett Stauffer forges true relationships with individuals & families to achieve both their short and long-term financial goals. Brett puts a special emphasis on explaining things well to help his clients feel more confident in their plan.
For Brett, providing truly comprehensive investment planning means taking the time to discover each client’s individual needs and risk tolerance. A hard worker by nature, he built his proficiencies at Wells Fargo Bank as a Regional Private Banker and Senior Financial Advisor before joining North Channel. Brett backs his experience up with multiple degrees from NW Missouri State - one in Business Management and another in Business Marketing.
The spirit of generosity is important to Brett, which is why he serves on his local church board and coaches youth sports. As a native of Lincoln, he has a great love of both the outdoors and Nebraska football. In his free time, you’ll find Brett hunting & fishing, playing golf, or traveling with family.
